JDV was started in early 2009 to help products that only exist on the drawing board get into the hands of the people who want them. Based out of Toronto, Canada and with an office in Seoul, South Korea, the 2010 Design Capital of the World, JDV is quickly growing and becoming a new method of creating products. We recently put up this new website and still have all our old blogs at ether=tonic.

JDV works with crowd-sourcing which is the use of a large amount of small payments(the crowd of people) to create something on individually could not (in our case manufacturing). These small payments from many people can contribute to prototyping, manufacturing, and delivering of products.

We always welcome feedback and information that can help make our website easier to use and more user friendly. Also, requests or product postings are also welcome suggestions. Send these requests to info@joydevivre.org.

JDV operates on the premise that no customers take any risk in their purchase. We want them to fully know that any all monies put towards the creation of a product will be fully reimbursed if the product does not make it to manufacturing.
