So you’re thinking of submitting a design to Joy de Vivre? Well that’s not a bad idea. There’s a lot of perks being a designer and throwing an idea into the eyes of the world.

First, you get some great feedback on what people think of your design. Essentially, market testing your idea. Wonder why some of your ideas aren’t top notch? Well get some feedback from fellow designers and consumers.

Second, your idea may be pretty good. If it is you get some great kick backs. You get the industry standard royalties from the design on all products sold.

Third, maybe your idea is a little better than pretty good. Then you get the royalties on that too. Not just from internet sales either. We’ll do our best to get this into the hands of retailers worldwide. This could mean big money.

Fourth, your name is on the product. It’ll say something like “I love lamp a Joy de Vivre Product designed by ‘Your Name Here’”. Great for your portfolio.

Fifth, if you are a designer you probably still have some of these lying around not doing anything. So might as well get those ideas into the main stage. That’s where we help.

What we need from you?

We need you to make the 3-D renderings as amazing as possible. That is it. Make sure it looks beautiful and we can do the rest. We’ll typically post the idea unless it looks really unfinished or is far too hard to manufacture (meaning it might be a little too expensive). Keep’em simple and typically small.
